We parked in the Eagle Rock parking lot (the second lot if you come in from Penitencia Road) since the first lot was full. There's a good number of spaces, picnic tables, and clear trail signs. We just went up the N Rim Trail which then splits into the Eagle Rock Trail, and went up to the top for the view of the valley. Pretty easy hike - the whole thing only took half an hour and that was with the time at the top admiring the view and climbing on the rock.

Definitely get here early, especially if it's a weekend! By the time we got back to our car the parking lot and road out were completely filled up. It's a beautiful trail with very nice views.

The resort/trail head wasn't hard to get to; we got there early enough that we could park quite close but if you get there later you might have to do a bit of driving around to find a parking place. The trails were nice and we found lots of things to climb on. Some of it was flat but there are a lot of inclines and declines. Also, bring a trail map! Or at least make sure you know where you're going; we took a wrong turn thinking it would go back to where we'd been before and instead ended up at a different fork that went somewhere completely different.

A friend and I did this hike back in February and it was one of my favorites of all the places I've been to so far. It's not too hike-y; everything is relatively flat for most of the trek to the falls (except for one part where it got a tiny bit adventurous). We met a few cows along the way but other than that didn't see any wildlife. If you just follow the fence for most of the way like the post says you'll get there! There's a decent sized parking lot and a porta potty there (it hadn't been emptied in a loooooong time though).
