We're a Canadian couple out exploring the world. With a huge amount of passion for the outdoors, wildlife, exploration, adventure, photography and cinematography were always on the lookout for awesome things to do and see in this beautiful world we live in.

The walk up to hooker lake is pristine. The walk itself is easy, very level and following a clear path. All along it the views of the mountains, rivers, waterfalls and valleys are amazing and there's a picture op around every turn. Hooker lake is beautiful as well and the view of MT. Cook is worth every step!

The hike was fun, at first it seemed disappointing as it stuck to the Forest away from the lake. It quickly changed and wound its way down to follow along the lake edge, rising and falling. It's an easy hike, despite its length. Waterfalls cross the paths and there are lots of opportunities to get some good lake pics. The waterfall and river at the end are well worth the walk as well! Very pretty and the Forest is beautiful. We spent more then an hour at the falls taking pictures and we finished in about 4 hours. Definitely would recommend!

The cliff jump is a ton of fun! The beach is pretty decent too although it gets really really busy. If your in the national park though it's a must do, so much fun!

Very beautiful waterfalls, I wouldn't go to take pictures there near dark or on a not nice day though. We attempted it around 430 during a break in a rainy day and were thwarted by weather, the falls were sending the spray straight at us making a long exposure of the falls impossible and the walk back although very short was very dark and a little creepy! Gorgeous spot, but check it out on a clear day!

Awesome spot, the natural bridge is just spectacular. If you follow the loop track through the cave area it comes out into a set of rolling hills dotted by rocks and trees that really feels like you've stepped out into a fairy tale. Well worth the visit!

Awesome spot, the riverside walk is a easy one with so many beautiful sights, the water is clearer and a colour blue I have never seen in a stream in all my life. Well worth checking out especially if your going to the Hobbiton movie set.

If your a lord of the rings fan this tour is awesome! The set is everything you would hope it to be, it really feels like you've stepped into the Shire! Well worth the money and the trip! Would do it again! If you have the chance do the evening banquet tour!

Its a great trail for a run, lots of beautiful scenery and the up and downs give you a good work out! Good for a walk or hike as well with lots of places to swim or take in the beautiful coast line.

The hike is super simple and the views of the forest and waterfall are awesome! Definitely well worth the visit. Its cool because you get to see the falls from a distance framed by the forest, from the bottom and then if you follow a connecting trail a short ways you see it from the very top as well! Great little hike.

We did this hike on one of our first days in New Zealand and it was an awesome welcome to the beautiful country! the hike Is a good length for a quick fun day trip and the views of the coast line and green hills inland are simply breath taking. A definite must do if your in the area!

This spot was amazing, we did a 2 day 4x4 trip from harrison to sloquet and then up to pemberton and it was a lot of fun! It was rainy and cool when we went to the springs but it was perfect, the pools very ion heat and relaxing in them next to the river as it rained was just beautiful! A definite must see spot!

Really fun hike to some beautiful lakes. The first K is the steepest and it even out after that! The only downside is hiking it during the busy months there are ALOT of people up there, but other then that it's great!

We did this hike in the beginning of Feb and it was a lot of fun! It took us about 1.5 hours up and 1 hour to get down. The trail is not too challenging but it is very very muddy! be prepared for it and bring proper hiking shoes, we passed a lot of people who had to turn around because they had attempted the hike in flip flops or with very small children. The path is very cool though, you feel like your deep in the jungle and it follows the river, crossing it several times so a good chance to wash off the mud! closer to the top there is a beautiful lookout giving you very nice views of the surrounding forest and mountains (great for pictures). At the top the pool was refreshing to swim in and fun to jump into from the cliff! saw lots of people on the way up and down and lots swimming. It was a great hike and I would recommend it, just be prepared to get muddy!

Quick little hike to see some beautiful falls, very crowded but nice to see!
