New Jersey Wanderer.

One of my favorite NJ hikes. The climb can be a little strenuous, but a lot of fun and totally worth it when you reach the top. The views over the Delaware are fantastic, and the hike itself is scenic as well. Last time I was there it began pouring rain just as I was about to begin my descent. The trail got muddy and slippery pretty quickly so be aware of the weather before you go and prepare accordingly.

Although I was limited to just a few hours on Block Island during my visit, I did get to enjoy the Mohegan Bluffs, the Southeast Lighthouse, a few beaches, and the Old Harbor area. It is a fun getaway that almost has a bit of a tropical vibe despite being off the coast of New England. The views were stunning! It is definitely a place I would want to revisit multiple times to make sure I got to see everything the island has to offer. I had traveled by taxi with my family during my time there, but next time I think I'd certainly consider renting bikes instead.

Great Falls is certainly hard to pass up for the view, a perfect photo op location. Not really any trails around the falls though, and it's location isn't in the nicest of areas. Worth stopping by briefly though for the history and the view.

I go to Double Trouble multiple times a year, it's great in every season! It's a nice, easy hike around the bogs and woods. Plus, the historic village is a great for photos. Cedar Creek, which runs through the heart of the park, is also great for kayaking. Depending on where you start and stop, average trip times run from 2 to 6 hours.
