Hiking | Backpacking | Trail Running

We did this as a day hike- we camped at Lena Lake and then summited the Brothers the next day. This is a gorgeous alpine lake that offers seclusion and gorgeous views.

This is a short hike with EPIC views for the effort. 360 panoramic views- Puget Sound on one side and the heart of the Olympics on the other. I would recommend an early start since this hike can get very crowded.

This is a wonderful backpack that I would recommend to any experience level! The most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen are on this coastal hike. Be sure to plan for the tides and keep an eye on the time- otherwise you won't be able to pass certain areas. You don't need a permit and it's not too crowded.

This is a great backpack that I would highly recommend to all experience levels. The views are stunning the entire way, and the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen were on this hike. We had fun climbing up the ropes and ladders (they are quite safe and not too technical). Make sure you plan out the tides beforehand and keep a close eye on the time- otherwise you won't be able to pass certain areas. We saw lots of seals, otters, and eagles.

This is a FANTASTIC day hike and it's one of my favorites in the Olympics. While it can be challenging on a hot day, the views are well worth it, and a 360 panoramic view in the heart of the Olympics can't be beat. Once you reach Marmot Pass, there are a few neighboring peaks that are fun to summit (we've seen mountain goats up here!). You can also continue walking on a network of trails beyond Marmot that follow the ridgeline and provide epic views. The trail is never too crowded and it is easily accessible from Quilcene.
