Scramble up to the top of the Gold Hill Stairs on Telluride Ski Resort when there's sunshine and wildflowers instead of powder and cold! Solitude and views!!

Park at the Telluride Ski Resort. In some of the summer months the Gondola does not run, so you will have to hike under the gondola a ways. Once you reach the top of that, you will continue up the ridge line, past several lodges that are only open in the winter. Continue up "See Forever", and up past Prospect Lift. At this point, you will start scrambling to the left of the steeper ridge that seems to stand in your way. There is an easier game trail this way that you can follow to the top of the next ridge. Follow this until you reach the famous Gold Hill Stairs.

Above the stairs are a bunch of boulders to hop on, have a picnic, or enjoy the views! The way back down is generally the same.. Be careful not to slip. Enjoy!
