Description

The Point Lookout Trail is a wonderful hike in Mesa Verde National Park for families or beginners. The trail is short, only 2 miles round trip. The hike is rewarding, with amazing views and lots of wild flowers.

The Point Lookout Trailhead is in the northern corner of Morefield Campground. The trail is recommended for use from mid spring to mid autumn. The first part of the hike involves some switchbacks, so make sure everyone in your party is of able physical ability.
