Description

Added by Ian Tyley

This unique suspension bridge offers scenic forest views just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

This is a great place to visit to get a feeling for the outdoors of Canada. The bridge is a little scary when a lot of people are walking across, but it is well worth the look.

Measuring 140 m (460 ft) long, the bridge crosses over the Capilano River in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and sits 70 m (230 ft) above the river.

Perfect for a calm afternoon

Despite my fear of heights, I absolutely loved the views that the bridge offers! Really enjoyed the Treetop Adventures and the chance to walk amongst the old Douglas Fir trees.

Love this park. Don't be afraid to go in the rain! Rain often means much less crowds and more of the park to yourself! During the winter months they introduce "Canyon Lights" and the whole park is decorated with Christmas lights...so beautiful!
