3-4 hour amazing hike up Mount Wesley behind Cathedral Grove and Cameron Lake! After the hike, explore Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park and campground.

To find the trail head, park at the Cathedral Grove parking lot (on the North side). Walk along the side of the road until you see a yellow gate that leads to a dirt road. Head down that road. Eventually you'll pass a few cabins on your right. After the second cabin there is a path that stands out on the left. This is where you start. And really start. It is an uphill trek from the first step. The trail continues on this path until it breaks out onto an old railroad. When you reach this point, turn right and walk down the tracks until you see another path on your left (a few minutes later). There will be a trail marker by the path. Once you get to this point, the trail is easy to follow. You'll approach a spot that breaks off onto different trails, but there is a wooden sign that indicates which way to go for Mount Wesley.

After finishing the hike, head back east in your car along the Alberni highway. There will be a sign for Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park. Follow the signs to the campground and set-up camp here. Within the campground there is a 5-10 minute walk to the falls. They are beautiful!
