The Black Mountain Trail is a 6 mile hike in Channel Islands National Park featuring scenic ocean views and unmatched opportunities to see marine life.

This trail heads inland on Santa Rosa Island. The trail is open year-round, but is best used from May to October. You can pick up the Black Mountain Trail near the campground entrance via Cherry Canyon Trail.
