A 1017 acre park featuring nature in an otherwise urban city.

Spend a day exploring Golden Gate Park by jogging, cycling, or leisurely strolling.  There are so many fantastic stops in the park including a variety of lakes, playgrounds, a golf course, the California Academy of Science, the Conservatory of Flowers, and much much more!  It is definitely worth spending a day here.

The Conservatory of Flowers is a greenhouse and botanical garden that houses numerous species of plants in different climates.  It's multi-roomed and visitors can plan to spend 30 min - 1 hr here.

Love this spot with all the wonderful plants and flowers. A treasure in the middle of the park! If you’re in the Bay Area, put this on your to do list!

There are multiple rooms with many different plant species in them. You gotta read all the little signs to learn the names.

I try to visit botanical gardens when I travel, and this was a spectacular spot. But please do allow for most of the day, I only had a few hours and I didn’t see nearly everything. Beautiful way to spend a day!
