Can become pretty strenuous the last mile. We went to camp and there is only really one spot so if multiple people are up there to camp you might be out of luck. The views at the summit weren't really worth the work to get up there (we went when it was extremely hot which made it a bit more unpleasant).

In love with this hike. You follow a beautiful river all the way up the mountain (until you're almost at the summit). The hike is hard as it is incredibly steep and hundreds of stairs. When we got to the top we began scaling the rocks you first see. We made it have way up before realizing going further wasn't going to happen. (The next rock was vertical and I wasn't about to see if I could make it). Also lots of bees so don't wear perfume or smelly things. We found out you can take the tiny path behind the sign (to the right of the rock face) and find a much easier way up!! That way was not a problem at all!

This hike was awesome. The hike itself is very easy. The part that makes it difficult is the length. Had no problem getting up but my feet felt the pain heading down around the last two miles. When you get to the lodge be sure you head up to cliff tops to get the view. Which can be all fog depending on weather. Be sure to go early!! We begin hiking at 6:50am and had the trail to ourselves. It was awesome. However on the way down around 10:30am we passed tons and tons of people. Would not have had the same experience if we left later. Round trip was 6 hours for us including stopping to eat breakfast and hanging out at the top for 1 hour.

A really cool spot that's worth the visit. However I think the drive up was my favorite part. The views and overlooks throughout the parkway on the way up were incredible. Be sure to stop at the overlooks. Also keep in mind it is a long way up the mountain (about an hour).

Very easy trail. Paved the whole way until you get to the actual waterfall, but covered beautifully by the woods and steep edges of cliffs. Usually can spot bears! Falls are really cool but usually very crowded.

A very cool place to visit. Easy walking. Saw tons of wildlife!

A must must see!! It is barely a hike at all. Very easy to get to buy the views are incredible. You can easily sit and hangout there all day. Very spectacular to see! I enjoyed this more than the Grand Canyon.

This one is a perfect "I wanna get out but not work too hard" hike. It is a long 7 miles but the trail is incredibly easy. Not strenuous at all. We saw a bear cub last spring walk right across the trail.

One of my favorite hikes around. The falls are beautiful but if it hasn't rained there isn't much to see. We went and a huge storm it. They falls were amazing but it is incredibly slippery so you need to be careful.

Don't take your pups! They will not handle the boulders well. Much harder than it looks but very fun!

In the late spring early summer, there can be a ton of bees right before you get to the top. You'll be able to hear them before you see them. If you see a sign that warns you of bees. Don't ignore it.

Beautiful bridges, creeks and falls along the way.
