One of the most scenic hikes in Sedona, AZ with amazing views from the top.

Cathedral Rock is one of the most popular landmarks in Arizona. This amazing rock formation is located in Sedona, Arizona.

The hike is steep and requires a bit of climbing in some spots. The 1.5 miles roundtrip is pretty strenuous, leading you up a moderately steep incline, but well worth the reward once you make it up. Follow the basket cairns up and enjoy the breathtaking views from the top. This is a great spot to enjoy the sunset!

To get to the trail, park in the Cathedral Rock Trailhead parking lot on Back O Beyond Rd. The parking requires a $10 day pass.

Do it at sunset!

One of my favorite places to watch the sunset in Sedona! Definitely a must do.

Best Hike In Sedona

I have done many hikes in Sedona and this one was my favourite. I found the climb quite fun and when you got to the top the views were breathtaking and when you took a little unmarked trail to the left the views only got better. Would recommend as it was simply stunning and the photo opportunities were endless.

Great Little Treasure

Love this short hike make sure you have water, hiking shoes and camera ready for the breath taking views! It's dog friendly, there's a port-a-pod they keep clean so up to you if you wanna use it 😉
