You can bring everything you need on that afternoon ride that you have planned with the CamelBak Mule Hydration Pack. The Mule has room for a short day's worth of gear and three liters of water, which should get you about three hours up the trail on a really hot day. The Mule also has CamelBak's XV back panel with air channels to keep you cool, a removable waist belt, and overflow storage in case you need to bring the kitchen sink.
The Antidote reservoir includes a lightweight, quick-seal cap, folding arms on the port to aid drying, and baffles in the body that allow the reservoir to maintain a lower profile. The Quick Link system in the reservoir allows you to quickly snap off the tube for cleaning and easily attach accessories like filters, flow meters, and insulated tubes.
The ample main compartment and multiple exterior pockets hold your tools, spare tubes, and an extra layer, while the waist belt with cargo pockets keeps the pack from bouncing around as you cruise through berms and bumps. HydroGuard antimicrobial technology inhibits bacterial growth on reservoir and tube surfaces, and the Ergo Hydrolock shut-off valve allows you to control water flow and prevents leaks.

The Mule holds its own

- I've put it through the wringer
This is a great hydration pack if you are seeking one with more space to store your stuff. This is my go to day hiking pack. I have used it every hike since receiving it. It fits items I need for the hike as well as the bladder being full and is still comfortable to carry. I would definitely recommend it for biking as well. If you are looking for significantly more capacity for carrying items the Fourteener from Camelbak is almost 3 times the capacity of the Mule.
