This hike is easy access to much needed open space. Views of the ocean are rewarding. If you start on the trail with the big rock at the beginning, you'll see a ton of little caves when walking on the valley floor.

We love this hike. It's totally worth a trip out to Julian. The rocks and trees and plants are ever changing. It feels like a few different hikes all wrapped in one. Grab a beer at nickel brewery after. Their spicy IPA is the best.

This is a flat trail for the most part. It's pretty but feels like a long stroll until the incline at the end. Not a bad trail to run.

This trail is a killer workout. You'll feel good after this one. Definitely bring water. The rocks look pretty cool at the top of the mountain.

Hitting up board and brew for a sandwich after Torrey pines is the best. So is the ocean after a hike. Hike, beach, grub :)

The beginning of this trail is a long walkway of oak trees and a cool spot to take photos. Get there for sunrise and you won't be disappointed.
