This hike is great all year-round; definitely try going when it's rainy. I've been a handful of times and the time it was raining was by far the BEST!

I’ve been here twice and I’ve fallen in love. It’s such a peaceful hike. You can bring your dogs which is a plus. I had no trouble getting there with the directions posted. It’s quite the drive, but totally worth it. The last time I went, there were a few hunters near the trail which was a little freaky. The hike is in a pretty remote area, so just be aware of your surroundings.
