To go on this hike first park at Campbell Creek Trail North where there is easy and free parking. Follow the large path that leads through the evergreens and over the bridge. From there, continue hiking up the mountain - there isn't always a clear marked path, but it's easy to tell which way to go. Once at the top you can go either right or left on the ridge - the left side is short and quick while the right side is perfect if you're in the mood for a nice long hike. The pictures I posted are from going to the left since we didn't have time for a longer hike.
2014 was an extremely mild winter for Anchorage so we decided to hike Little O'Malley in October. Of course, once we got to the top it started snowing so we slid back down before it got too snowy.
